The Frame of these Stands are made from tough 1-5/8″ 16AWG Outer Tubing with a 40wt 1-5/8″ Cross Pipe. Each weld is painstakingly “Cup Welded” by hand for superior strength and durability. No robotic spot welding here! We drill all the way through the 1-5/8″ 40wt Cross Pipe and hand weld in high strength 1″ 40wt Pegs to both the top and bottom of the Stand. This process turns the Pegs into a cantilevered truss that completely eliminates Peg failures commonly seen on Competitors surface welded Pegs. Our Stands also incorporate an open Tube design perpendicular to the Fence. This allows installers the option of inserting 1-3/8″ O.D. Pipe inside the Stands, perpendicular to the Fence Line, to widen the stance of the Stand on either side of Fence for better stability. Pegs are welded with a close gap of 1.25″ between Pegs so Panel Clamps, instead of Saddle Clamps, are used to virtually eliminate flex and disconnection on windy days.
